Service is great. Food is VERY good quality, which is why you’ll find the portions are a bit smaller than what you’d be accustomed to in this area. It is absolutely worth paying for to experience authentic food, and cannot be compared to other Mexican places in Florence at all because it’s a totally different concept. Highly recommend their drinks too. Food was fresh and menu is well thought out. The guacamole trio is a must have. The sauces are very flavorful too. The upstairs has a great atmosphere too, so definitely don’t forget to check it out if you are dining downstairs.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Service was quick and accommodating. Food was top notch and the atmosphere was very welcoming and made you want to stay. I had the pleasure of being served by Jacob, who made sure my experience was memorable and answered any questions I had. When it came to dessert, the manager, Edson, personally came to deliver it and see that everything was to my liking. I even had the privilege to speak to the owner, Carlos, who was active to make sure his guests were taken care of. I was very impressed by the selection of tequila. You won't find what they have in a lot of places around here. As for the food, they've done a good job of leveling up the usual Mexican fare. Overall, I was really impressed and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Senor Tequila presents an elevated take on Mexican cuisine. By far the nicest Mexican place in town. You can go for a nice dinner and drinks here. It could be a date night spot 100%. Pictures are the fish tacos and burrito Mexicano. Tacos were mahi and had a delicious chipotle Baja sauce. 4 was very filling. The burrito as you can see offers three different flavor profiles. So if you can’t decide just get this one and cover all your bases. We really enjoyed the food. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was really very elegant without being pretentious. I know this may not be a big deal to some but they had very heavy silverware and it felt really good in the hands. Overall score 9.1/10(slight deduction because the refried beans weren’t great but that’s just nitpicking)

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Shoals! No question about it. They homemake EVERYTHING - the chips, the salsa, the queso, the beans. My husband got the carne asada and it was incredible, best skirt steak I’ve ever had. I got the mixto ceviche; all the meats (shrimp, mahi, and octopus) were perfectly flavored and tender. We also ordered three different flavors of margarita, and all were homemade and delicious - pineapple, guava, and cucumber. The best was the pineapple! Everything we ordered was good enough to lick the plate. I cannot say enough good things, and I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in the area - it’s my husband’s favorite food. You’ve got to try the food here!

This may be my new favorite spot! The tortilla chips are the best I've ever had. They're almost like pita chips, but they're tortilla chips. So crisp and delicious. The salsa is fresh and flavorful and really not comparable to any I've had before. I enjoyed the skirt steak tacos. I can't wait to try other items on the menu. There's seating available upstairs, downstairs, and outside. There's a nice bar, and the cocktails are plentiful. The kids' menu is extensive, and kids eat free on Sunday!

Had a late dinner tonight. The staff sat me on the second floor. That is where I met Alexander, my server. He took great care of me and assisted me with my questions about the menu. I ordered a draft blood orange and Quesabirria. My meal was full of flavor and I would definitely order it again! Great atmosphere. Great restaurant! One suggestion: the salsa bowl is too small. Upsize please.

Food was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh! I wasn't too hungry, so I just got a taco salad and a margarita. I'll bring my appetite next time. They also have dishes made for two. They sound amazing. The service was excellent. Just the whole place has a great ambiance to it. Yall should definitely check this place out!

The best trio fajitas ever. Fresh and perfectly seasoned. Excellent Paloma cocktail. Beautiful ambiance and top notch service.
